Papi's Pickles is a South Indian caterng company in London, who work with unemployed Indian and Sri Lankan women. It is hosting it's first pop-up over two nights on Friday 30th & Saturday 31st May at Well Street Kitchen inn Homerton, with lots of tasty Indian vegetarian food, all for just £18 per head.
"Papi's Pickles are delighted to present our first pop up @ the fantastic Well Street Kitchen.
For 2 nights only, join us for a 3 course South Indian feast and allow your taste buds to be whisked far away with our authentic recipes.
Dates: Friday 30th + Saturday 31st May
Time: WSK will be open from 7pm, with the first seating at 7.30pm.
VEGETARIAN MENU
STARTER
Fresh mango lassi
Chaat: a savoury mix of potatoes + chickpeas laid over crispy wafers + drizzled with a tamarind + yoghurt sauce. Served with pomegranate + fresh coriander
MAINS
Masal dosa: South Indian crepes made from a rice + black lentil batter, filled with spiced smashed potatoes + sautéed onions
Idli: steamed pillows of rice + lentils
Served with sambar: a spicy lentil + onion sauce, fresh coconut chutney, homemade chilli powder, yoghurt + a cucumber, tomato + coriander salad
DESSERT
Beetroot halwa + carrot halwa*: Traditional South Indian dessert made with grated beetroot + carrot, milk, sugar + ghee. Served with crushed rose petals, seasonal fruit compote + caramelised tamarind
PICKLES
Tomato & garlic
Green apple, fig & roasted garlic
Served with appalam: crispy wafers made from urad dhal
*Contains cashew nuts but can be made without on request. Please ask us for a list of ingredients used for each dish if you have any allergies."

- Your name + date of choice
- How many people you're coming with so we can seat y'all together
- What time you'd like a table - 7.30pm, 8pm or 8.30pm
- If you have any dietary requirements, which we will do our damnedest to cater for.
