Very regular pop-up organiser Jimmy Garcia is cooking at 409 in Clapham North on Monday 12th May. Jimmy has done so much over the past 3 years - his popup career coincides pretty much exactly with the life of this site - and he will be preparing a special 7 course tasting menu at 409 to show off some of his talents.
"We’re excited to showcase Jimmy Garcia our Pop Up Chef. He will be taking over our restaurant kitchen at four o nine for the whole evening.
Expect food theatre, chef interaction, little surprises and fun, all set to feature!
Jimmy Garcia has been popping up in various parts of London, providing quirky inventive dishes created from some of the finest local ingredients around. From foragers who pick inside the M25, to delicious Hereford beef that’ll be provided by the Brown Family. He’s previously hosted quirky evenings and events to keep the public’s stomachs satisfied and putting smiles on faces.
Jimmy Garcia has worked in rosette restaurants and cooked on private super yachts for Arabic Royalty. Jimmy has founded three of London’s most well-known sell out pop-up restaurants - The Wild Food Kitchen, Jimmy’s Supper Club and South West Supper Club.
Jimmy will be popping up in our four o nine kitchen, cooking up a storm with a seven course tasting menu to delight any taste buds."
