The Long Table is back with a series of dinners at The William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, featuring delicious food for sharing, and a different craft brewer each month. These did really well late last year, so we welcome a second season!
Following the success of its first sell-out series, The William Morris Tea Room is hosting another 4-date series of The Long Table in the beautiful setting of the William Morris Gallery.
As the weather warms up this spring and summer, settle in for an informal sit-down that's all about the best company and the best food. Head chef Chris Pickett will treat guests to two mouthwatering courses cooked from the freshest seasonal British ingredients, washing it down with a new featured craft beer each month.
Through the glass walls and roof of the Tea Room stunning sunsets and gorgeous views over Lloyd Park will accompany the meal. And between courses guests will have time to explore the Gallery itself. Here, at the 2013 ArtFund Museum of the Year and winner of the 2013 Arts and Heritage award for best Permanent Exhibition, they will learn about the life and works of William Morris. Arguably Britain's most important designer, his iconic prints, tapestries and furniture fill the Gallery, along with an exploration of his life and philosophy. Meanwhile complementary contemporary works live in the temporary exhibition space.
Avoid the daytime crowds while enjoying some of the best seasonal British food around. Why would you want to take in this incredible venue any other way?
