Pan-American street food experts Tacu Tacu normally trade in Brick Lane, but are moving indoors in late March for a one night pop-up at The Russet in Hackney Downs. See below for the two different options - the burgers are either Mexican Shrimp or Ecuadorian Sweet Potato. Great value at £19 for 3 courses.
"After our time roaming the mean streets of brick lane this one of the first in a series of pop-ups we have planned throughout London over the coming months.
This time we will be recreating our own little piece of Latin America, complete with sultry music, at our favourite venue by Hackney Downs.
The menu is based around a novel Latin-inspired 3-course double burger bonanza which brings together various gastronomic elements from various parts of the region with an unexpected twist......a shrimp burger??!! A mojito dessert burger??!! The world has gone mad I tell you! London has never seen the likes of this before.
We will be recommending some boozy pairings or you can go freestyle from the russet's extensive range of craft beers and cocktails of course
