Kernow in the City, a celebration of all things Cornish, returns to Rich Mix in Bethnal Green Road on Saturday 1st March, close to St Piran's Day, with live music, bilingual comperes, proper Cornish pasties, and proper Cornish beer. Go and find your inner Cornish person!
"Now in its fifth year, Kernow In The City returns to the Rich Mix Arts Centre, Shoreditch in 2014 for a night of Cornish music, culture and language to celebrate St. Piran’s Day - Cornwall’s national day.
This year’s theme is Cornwall's native language Kernewek. This ancient and unique language was revived in the 20th Century and now has thousands of speakers across Cornwall and beyond.
