Wong's Chinese New Year at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club

Wong's Happiness Diner, run by Mei Mei's Street Cart, have a special Chinese meal plus movie night at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club on Thursday 6th February.  The film will be by director Wong Kar-wei, and will be chosen on twitter by diners - check Wong's Twitter for details

"Run by the 'terrible twins' Oli and Melissa - Londoners whose roots lay in Northern China and whose passion for Chinese cuisine, together with a severe disdain for bad Chinese food urged them to launch Mei Mei's Street Cart." Grub Club is very excited to be introducing Oli and Melissa, who we have worked with to help devise a fantastical adventure into the cuisine and cinema of China.
Come and celebrate this year's Chinese New Year indulging in a brilliant and authentic 'feasting menu.' Then allow yourself to be guided down to their mini cinema to a screening of a film by the acclaimed Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai (who in 1997 was the first Chinese director to win the Best Director Award at Cannes)."

When - Thursday 6th Feb, 7pm - 11pm

Where - Top floor of the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, 42 Pollard Street, London, E2 6NB

Booking - £25 for the food, £30 fro the food + film from Grub Club here
