Lovedesh Lazy Dawat Bangladeshi Sunday Lunch in Aldgate

Lovedesh is a new project from Yasmin Choudhury featuring authentic Bangladesh dishes, including here wood fired curry.  It's happening on Sunday 10th November at The Empress, an Indian restaurant in Leman Street, and (at time of writing) early bird tickets are still available at a very reasonable £23.

"Lovedesh™ Lazy Dawat - is my new style pop up lazy dining club to celebrate authentic cuisine from some of the lesser known and poorest nations around the world.
I start by focusing on my heritage Bangladesh.  It's all part of my mission at Lovedesh™ to smash stigma surrounding poor and lesser known countries - simply by using dishes to show how skilled folks are, out in some of the poorest countries in the world. To inspire and encourage you to visit these nations one day.  At the same time, to help balance all the negative stuff we keep hearing about.  Oh, did I mention also the fun part - how you might get the odd travel anecdote and wacky quiz thrown in too....?"
If you enjoy authentic, intimate, boutique, world dining experiences that are quirky and fun too, where you also learn about the food being served, then this event cannot be missed."
