The PLAYN SHOWBOX Pop-up Eyewear Shop in Shoreditch

PLAYN Eyewear have opened a pop-up shop in Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, to let people who have admired their products on their website see them in the flesh.  It's a very small shop apparently (see below) but we're sure it's perfectly formed!

"PLAYN, Frames And Lenses Straight From The Makers, pops up on 77a Redchurch Street till the 30th of September.
After an overwhelmingly successful launch at London’s Boxpark, PLAYN is back putting its ecofriendly, handcrafted frames on display in Shoreditch.
Visitors have excitedly called it “OMG the smallest shop in the world”
We simply call it the PLAYN SHOWBOX.
Based on a design principle “80% plain and 20% play”, PLAYN offers easy-to-wear eyewear with a dash of “je ne sais quoi”.  On PLAYN.COM, people can browse the collection of 21 original styles and play with a wide range of colour and coating options. Once an order is placed, the company then ships straight out of the lenses lab in Bangkok. This one-stop distribution process – “Factory > Lab > Doorstep” – reduces cost and environmental impact, leaving PLAYN with a bigger budget to produce quality, premium lenses.
To reduce its environmental impact, PLAYN partners with the Carbonfund.org Foundation to offset its carbon footprint and the PATT Foundation, a local non-profit organization, to plant a tree for every pair sold."

When - 30th August - 30th September
