Ham House, a National Trust property, is holding a special autumn harvest meal next Friday 4th October, using produce grown in the garden. See the provisional menu below - looks very good!
"Working with the gardeners, Sarah, our new catering manager, and Susie, one of our catering assistants, are busy putting together a menu. The evening will commence with a welcome drink and kitchen garden talk given by Patrick, our head gardener, followed by a three-course meal. The meal will take place in our beautiful new-look Orangery, located in our 17th-century walled kitchen garden. A bar will also be available.
Here’s a sneaky peek at what you can expect to be served on the night:
Bruschetta with red-onion marmalade and goats' cheese
Pumpkin and marrow gnocchi
Pulled venison with red wine and currants
Caramelised garlic tart
Apple dumplings
Please note, due to much of the produce being from our kitchen garden, dishes may change."
When - Friday 4th October, 6.30pm
Where - Ham House and Garden, Richmond, TW10 7RS
Tickets - £35 from here
