There's nothing like seizing the moment: Kennedy City Bicycles spotted a vacant unit next to their favourite coffee shop, and a few days later had moved in. The pop-up will be open for at least the whole of August. Brilliant!
"Last Friday we were at our local coffee shop (the amazing 119 Lower Clapton) and noticed their neighbours, a long standing car spare parts shop, had moved out. It turns out a Vet is moving in, but they need 2 months to change the usage of the space from A1 to D1.
4 days later and we’ve gutted the place, ripped up an exhausting quantity of crappy carpet and even found a Tottenham Hotspur programme from 1971 (the last time the shop changed hands).
We’re here at 117 Lower Clapton Road in E5 for at least the month of August, displaying our bicycles and spreading the cycling gospel. Pop by and say hi, we’d love to see you."
