Quirky Illustrators Ohh Deer are opening a physical store for two weeks later in June to sell their own products. They'll also use the space to host some special workshops including ceramics, and comics.
"Ohh Deer (www.ohhdeer.com) is a quirky online shop that sells illustrated gifts. Their products are stocked internationally in an array of wonderful boutiques, independent shops, and even retail giants such as Topshop and Urban Outfitters. This design-happy start-up functions more like a collective than a regular shop, with illustrators getting a percentage of the profits. There’s a lot of heart at the centre of this illustration madhouse.
Wolf & Badger (www.wolfandbadger.com) are independent London-based boutiques that stock unique accessories, homeware and clothing. These concept stores have a passion for products made by bright, young things and their gallery space often features new Designers, Creators and Artists.
Illustration collective Ohh Deer have partnered up with independent retailer Wolf & Badger to bring you an action-packed pop-up shop. Needless to say, there will be all sorts of illustrated goodies on sale including a selection of homeware, stationery and the usual unusuals. There will be work on display by all the familiar Ohh Deer faces that you know and love including Jack Teagle, Mark Callaby, Jamie Mitchell, Gemma Correll, Sandra Dieckmann and Kris Tate. They’ll also be running various workshops during the course of the pop-up, and the results will be displayed on a website designed especially for this collaboration. This means that if you take part, you’ll get your work some epic exposure.

27th June, 12pm – 2pm, Panel comics workshop with Gemma Correll
29th June, 12pm – 2pm, Clay workshop with Yas-Ming Ceramics
2nd July, 12pm – 3pm, Workshop with Drew Turner
Once you’ve shopped ‘til you’ve dropped, you can get your creative juices flowing alongside this bunch of professional creatives. Meet the collective, get involved, and pick up something beautiful. Please bring any artwork materials you wish to use in the workshops with you!"
