AMooseBush recently won We Are Pop-up's competition to host a pop-up restaurant (along with Pisco Fuego and Zoe's Ghana Kitchen) at the Pip's Dish space in Islington. It's going to be Italian regional cuisine, on Tuesday 21st May, and costs £31 per head, with BYOB.
"FAMooseBush are very excited to announce that they will be taking part in the PopUp Challenge Event 2013 hosted by We Are Pop Up and PipsDish.
We are a foursome of family members consisting of Robert, Fred, Cara and Rob who are on a singular mission to champion the regional Italian dishes that have been handed down the family through Nonna Bianca and Nonno Giuseppe.
The north and south of Italy famously can't agree on how anything should be cooked and having a grandparent from each side certainly caused some fireworks in the kitchen. Now that we kids are all grown up, its our turn to make the same sparks fly as we argue about the best way to cook the artichokes.
Please join us on Tuesday 21st May for an evening of good old fashioned Italian regional cooking served.... well, not quite like mamma used to make but BETTER.
