The Portuguese Conspiracy Supper Club's April Revolution Dinner in Clerkenwell


The Portuguese Conspiracy are back with their third event.  This time it's in celebration of the April Revolution (on 3rd May), and it's £40 for feast (menu highlights below) with a selection of Portuguese wines.  Note that this was originally planned to be in Dalston, and on the 2nd May; now it's in Clerkenwell on 3rd May.

For this next gathering we return to L’Atelier in Dalston on the 2nd of May we're going to be at the Clerkenwell Kitchen on Friday 3rd May, to celebrate 38 years (one  week or so later), the  25th of April of 1974 revolution, know  as the “Carnation Revolution”  one of the most peaceful, (but nonetheless critical to today’s geopolitical scenario) revolutions in history.
Menu includes:
Pães de leitão da Bairrada + Espetadas de morcela com ananás
(Bairrada pork filled bread + Morcela and Pineapple skewers)
Bacalhau assado em azeite e alho com esparregado de grelos e broa frita
(Slices of cod confit with sautéed sprouts  and fried corn bread)
Carne de Porco à Alentejana
(Alentejana stewed pork loin with clams, potatoes and coriander)
Sericaia com ameixas d’Elvas em calda
(Sweet souffle with plum preserve)"
