Spelt Recipe Baking Demonstrations with Top Chefs at Fortnum & Mason's in Piccadilly

Fancy learning to bake with some of the UK's best chefs?  For eleven days big names like Mark Hix and Gizzi Erskine will be demonstrating their spelt recipes at Fortnum and Mason in aid of Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.  Half of the sessions are at lunchtime, and half are after work; each session costs £35, with the money going to the charity.

"Sharpham Park's Great British Spelt Recipes pop up will run for two weeks from Tuesday 16 April -  Sunday 28 April in Fortnum & Mason's pop up bakery.
Launched this month to mark the start of Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, Great British Spelt Recipes is a recipe collection created by Sharpham Park (Mulberry founder Roger Saul's spelt food range) in partnership with Bowel Cancer UK.
The recipes in the collection have been kindly donated by 30 of the UK's top chefs eg. Yotam Ottolenghi, Tom Aikens, Rachel Green, Sally Clarke, Mark Hix, Gizzi Erskine, The Fabulous Baker Brothers, Signe Johansen to name a few.
A number of chefs involved in the campaign will be demonstrating their delicious spelt recipes at the pop up bakery alongside talks from Bowel Cancer UK highlighting the importance of a high fibre diet in helping to reduce the risk of developing bowel cancer. A dedicated spelt menu (with recipes from the collection) will also be on offer to customers visiting the pop bakery area"
