Literary Dinners & Foyles Present Sheila Heti in Spitalfields

Another literary evening from the excellent Literary Dinners, this time for Canadian writer Sheila Heti.  I went to an event last year - see pictures here - and it was excellent.  You can see the work that goes into the venue and the preparation, and the food was delicious.  This time the venue is The Rag Factory in E1, a creative space used for art, rehearsals and performances.

"What did you want to be as a child? Fire fighter, astronaut… celebrity dragon known for magical deeds? Well, let Literary Dinners take you back, as we get childish and act out at the Rag Factory with Sheila Heti. For one night only, small talk and mundanity will be put aside in favour of 'got got need', lofty dreams and squabbling over the last flump.
Much lauded and chit-chatted about, Sheila will be center stage as we try and answer her fictional memoir How Should a Person Be? Accompanied by colourful drawings and a gob-smacking menu from the delectable Kosher Roast, Sheila will be on hand as literary therapist for the evening.
Our resident maitre’d fictionistas will bring chewed Crayolas and well-thumbed stage plays on request.
Tickets include food and literary entertainment. "
