Upstairs Downstairs is two regular events at The Dispensary Pub & Private Dining Room near Aldgate. Held on the same night, upstairs starts with a champagne reception, while downstairs is more down to earth. I went a couple of months ago, and I really recommend it. Upstairs you get a full 5 course feast served by a butler who worked at Buckingham Palace for ten years. For March the Upstairs diners are getting roast leg of lamb, and Soufflé Rothschild!
Upstairs Menu
Chicken consommé with wild mushroom and truffle dumplings
Skate wing, burnt butter and capers
Roast leg of lamb, dauphinoise potato, roasting juices
Cheese straws
Soufflé Rothschild"
