Charlie Stocker's Fine Dining Pop-up in Clerkenwell Green

Update - Extra date (29th) added due to demand!

Chef Charlie Stocker is holding a pop-up at the end of April at the very impressive Old Sessions House - a former 19th century court room - in Clerkenwell Green.

"21 year old MasterChef Professional 2012 quarter finalist Charlie Stocker, will be hosting his first London PopUp at The Old Sessions House in Clerkenwell on 30 April 2013. Charlie holds many sell out pop ups in Essex along the coastline where he gets the seawater to make his own salt and forages.  Charlie has created a Fine Dining Tasting Menu for this event which is suitable for vegetarians as well as meat eaters.
Charlie loves to find unusual locations for his popups - his regular ones include a vineyard on an Island, a sailing loft and a vintage train.  The Sessions House was once the largest and busiest Court House in England. The building contained court rooms, dungeons and living space for the resident judges - many a convict who ended up in Australia arrived via a vist! It ceased to function as a Court in 1920 and now serves as a conference and meeting centre. It has recently been sold and this PopUp will be one of the last opportunities to visit it in its current form, prior to its redevelopment. According to its website it is built in the Grand Pantheon style favoured during the reign of King George III; the building has been extensively restored to much of its original style. The entrance hall and the dome were modelled on the Pantheon in Rome, built by Agrippa for his Emperor 2000 years ago. The building has a grade 2 star listing from English Heritage. The menu can be found on www.charliestocker.com/pop-ups"
