'Kernow in the City' Cornish Festival in Shoreditch

Kernow in the City is a one-night celebration of all things Cornish (Kernow being the Cornish world for Cornwall).  It's taking place on the 2nd Saturday in March, and there will be lots of music, comedy, plus 'proper' Cornish pasties and some of the regions best beers, including Skinner's.  Don't miss it!

"Come one and all to London’s Cornish Cultural Event - Kernow In The City
Now in its fourth year, London’s annual celebration of Cornish culture for St. Piran’s Day (Cornwall’s national day) returns to Rich Mix.
This year’s headliner is a comedy sensation in his homeland. We are privileged to present the London debut of the Kernow King’s acclaimed stand-up comedy show ‘Wonders Of The Cornish Universe’. Plus former Rialto frontman Louis Eliot, singer-songwriter Kezia, female-fronted post-grungers Honey and bi-lingual (Cornish & English) compere Luke from Cornish Oafs.
Proper Cornish pasties and some of the region’s finest ale will be on sale at the event to make sure everyone gets a flavour of Kernow at its best."

When - Saturday 9th March, from 7.30pm

Where - 35 - 47 Bethnal Green Road, E1 6LA
