The Designer Jumble Sale Pop-up Shop near Russell Square

Just in time for Christmas - buy some discarded classic items in a shop curated by a former Vogue online editor, in a space that used to be a Starbucks.  Lots of bargains in store for the discerning browser!

"THE Designer Jumble Sale opens its first store today (6th December) on 70 Lambs Conduit Street in London. The pop-up shop, which will close at the end of the month, promises more covetable luxury items than any of its former shopping events. And, it sounds as if the boutique has already been popular with locals.
"We've sold 20 pieces today just from people walking past the stores, seeing things in the windows and wanting to buy it," said founder and former vogue.co.uk editor Abigail Chisman. "There's been a lot of interest, which is a great situation to be in."
The temporary residency came about suddenly - the space became available in the Bloomsbury street and the landlord launched a competition for potential retailers to enter. Despite stiff competition from the V&A and YMC, Chisman's pitch won - giving her 10 days to move in and open.  The shop houses a host of bargain items from labels such as Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Chloe, Prada, Sonia Rykiel, Sandro and Stella McCartney. Prices start from as little as £20 stretching to £500."
