This is a great idea: A pop-up shopping arcade with a varied range of stores has just opened at Somerset House. A friend who's been down there (Hi Caroline!) says it looks great. Lots of interesting places to shop, but a special mention must go to Hoxton Street Monster Supplies, a pop-up outpost of the Ministry of Stories project from Hoxton.

The Christmas Arcade celebrates the best of British design selling winter accessories, jewellery, artisan furniture, gift sets and decorations from exclusively British boutique brands, and featuring over fifty designers and makers, including Handmade in Britain, Tatty Devine, Electrum Gallery and Monster Supplies.
Skaters and spectators can also enjoy festive demonstrations and events taking place in The Christmas Arcade, throughout the run.
