The Gin Garden is a new venture creating cocktails with gin and some natural plants found in gardens. For their first project they're popping up at Fenton House, a National Trust property, as part of their Apple Weekend.
"We are a traveling gin garden, serving drinks made with local gin, fruit, herbs and flowers. We work closely with the gin distiller to ensure their botanicals are complimented with our locally sourced ingredients.
Not only do we bring the drinks, we bring the garden- arriving at a location and blossoming the space into a decorative scenic background.
We will be popping up in Hampstead at Fenton House's annual Apple Weekend on the 15th & 16th of September. This National Trust event is a celebration of the English apple in the historic orchard. Including bee-keeping demonstrations, tastings, local produce stalls and children's activities. This year’s event has a 1950’s theme and will run both days from 11am to 4.30pm.
At this event we will be serving:
Bramley Apple Martini made with Sacred Gin and bramley apple juice from Fenton House Orchard
Gin and Tonic made with Sacred Gin Cardamon distillate and tonic
French Lavender 75 made with Sacred Gin, Ridgeview Cavendish Sparkling wine, lavender and honey from Fenton House gardens and hive
Tom Collins Sacred Gin, club soda, lemon juice
The Gin Garden Poptails Home made popsicles served in wine glass topped with Ridgeview Cavendish Sparkling wine"
