The Novel Diner Presents American Psycho in Shoreditch

Dreams (or nightmares) are made of this!  Regular supper club hosts The Novel Diner, whose evenings are based around classic novels, are doing an night devoted to American Psycho at Shoreditch House.  Be sure to be like Patrick Bateman and be able to reel out what you are wearing, from head to toe, and prepare yourself for a bit of late-period Genesis and Huey Lewis & The News.  Maybe.

"For ONE NIGHT ONLY, The Novel Diner invites you to Dorsia, home to the hottest tables in New York City, where you'll be transported back to the gory glamour of Bret Easton Ellis' cult classic American Psycho.
Snap on a Rolex, straighten your red braces and arrive at 7.15pm sharp. Let sadism and style collide...
You will be greeted with a cocktail to ease you into some networking, yuppie-style (business cards are essential). We'll be serving an array of canapés inspired by Patrick Bateman's favorite eateries - think Indo-Californian fusion, peanut butter soup and, of course, sea urchin ceviche. There'll be a bar stocked full of J&B, Champagne and Absolut. Guests can also expect a reading by Bateman himself and a live rendition of Patrick's favorite Whitney Houston numbers.
Get ready for a night of hedonism in shoulder pads. Book tickets early - or we'll assume you're returning video tapes...
"I'm resourceful... I'm creative, I'm young, unscrupulous, highly motivated and highly skilled. In essence what I'm saying is that society cannot afford to lose me. I'm an asset."
Dress code: Eighties power dressing. (Elegant Navies. Subtle Plaids. Lotsa Beige. You know.)
Tickets: Include a cocktail, meal and entertainment. "

When - Tuesday 18th September, 7.15 sharp

Where - Shoreditch House, Ebor Street, Shoreditch, London, E1 6AW
