Regular popper-uppers Broken Down Doll are back in Kensal Rise for their mix of Vintage and Cocktails, this time for a two week run.
"Broken Down Doll will be returning to our No. 72 Chamberlayne Road residence for one last round of exquisite vintage fashion and classic cocktails. Our address (and impeccable taste) remains the same, but this time The Doll will be grander, longer and more fabulous than ever.
The Doll will present our vintage selection for autumn 2012. As always, we endeavour to deliver vintage for those who don’t do vintage—only the most distinctive pieces of the highest quality will do. We will showcase the looks that inspired this season’s catwalks, from over-the-top opulence by way of perfectly cinched waistlines to Edwardian elegance.
Faultless fashion won’t be the only thing on display; this time we’ve applied the same discerning aesthetic that The Doll has become known for to our new foray into interiors and accessories. It’s a lot to take in, which is why, as always, we invite our clients to take their time and shop the civilised way: with a cocktail in hand—from our very own cocktail lounge. The Doll will be debuting a brand new cocktail menu, devised by our constant spiritual advisor Ben Reed.
With more of The Doll’s remarkable treasures to find your way around you may need to devote more time to your shopping experience, so we’ll be sticking around longer than ever before. Open from 10am-10pm Thursdays to Saturdays and on the opening Wednesday, with cocktails available from 4pm. Open from 10am-7pm all other days.
