To celebrate the Olympics, and offer something a bit different, the bar Archer Street is opening a pop-up theatre in its basement bar, to show some stars of London's best big name musicals in cabaret.
"This summer Archer Street will be adding a little theatre to The Games. With many theatres set to close during the Olympics, Soho’s new hot spot will be ensuring that tourists and Londoners alike do not miss out on what is undoubtedly one of the jewels in London’s crown, by organising nightly performances by the stars of London’s most well loved musicals.
Already famed for its popular live music and open mic sessions, Archer Street will be transforming the downstairs bar into a pop-up theatre, recreating the buzz of the theatre district in an intimate surrounding. Performers from such well known shows, such as Jersey Boys and Priscilla Queen of the Desert will be belting out numbers from their shows, joined by some of Archer Street’s all-singing, all-dancing bar staff. The downstairs area will be transformed into a pop-up theatre, recreating the buzz of the theatre district in an intimate surrounding.
Whilst enjoying some of London’s best entertainment, customer’s can enjoy some delicious cocktails at this sophisticated bar with a lot of personality.
