A brand new pop-up cafe is opening in Soho on Monday, just days after the organisers got access to the premises. It will be open as a cafe during the day, and also host six evening supper clubs in August.
"Literary salon meets stuffing your face. With art.
The cafe is opening on Monday 30 July at 10am and will be open during the day until about 6pm. This has all happened very quickly and we've had less than a week to set it up. So we are starting simply - with coffee, tea and cake - with more to follow once we've settled in.
We are also having six supper club dinners on 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31 August showcasing amateur cooks - £40 per person for a no-choice three course dinner (with wine and beer available for purchase). Each dinner will be preceded by a talk event - check back for details.
Our aim is to imagine a new way of eating out drawing on the elements we all like best from a good evening out – the people, the environment and of course the food and drink. Eating should be a communal experience where you meet old friends, make new ones, discuss the issues of the day, learn something and have fun. We want you to leave having eaten a delicious meal in a beautifully designed setting buzzing with new ideas, inspired by the people you meet."
When - 29th July - 2nd September
Where - 17 Beak Street, W1F 9RW
