The Cornish Grill Sunday Lunch with Lucky Chip's Ben Denner at Redhook in Farringdon

After a short break The Cornish Grill is back at Redhook, serving up a Sunday lunch with a specially chosen guest chef.  This month:  Ben Denner of Lucky Chip, on the theme of surf and turf.

"On Sunday 22 July, The Cornish Grill returns with not one, but two chefs collaborating to create a deliciously inventive Surf & Turf grazing menu. Jeff Roxas-Green is our Head Chef at Redhook, where the NY Striploin and Lobster is a favourite will be joined by Ben Denner, of Lucky Chip fame (Netil Market & Seabright Arms, Hackney and Slider Bar in Soho) who’s been causing a stir amongst the street food and burger pilgrims all over London. A real one off, this is set to be a treat.
Tickets are £35 each for the whole menu, and a welcome Grey Goose Bloody Mary to start you off.
You can book solo, in twos or groups and we’ll find a good spot for you. We seat people in tables of four and more so The Cornish Grill is a little bit like a supper club, only at lunchtime and in a restaurant.

  1. Well this was a disappointment and a half. Two hours from our booked slot we finally had our first mouthful.

No presentation or explanation as to what the dishes were, just thrown onto the table. We had to check the website to see what it was we were eating.

Dishes were all luke-warm, total mishmash of flavours and rich sauces all very uncompliementary.

Cold apple and custard for dessert. Do people really put up with this? Appalling.
