Acklam Village Market off Portobello Road

Acklam Village Market is a renewal of the Portobello Fine Foods Market, off Portobello Road, just North of The Westway, and is having its launch this weekend, 21st - 22nd July.  Lots of events are planned over the next few weeks.

"Currently at the weekends there is a busy street food bit with Eat Street favourites such as Vinn Goute and Bocaface.
Then to the side of that there is currently derelict site which is being transformed into a bar and music space.  There will be live music all weekend every weekend with a bar where Portobello Gin and microbeers will be sold.
It’s going to be fantastic. There is already a small cinema space. On 10th August Kate Spicer is throwing a party and screening for her film Mission to Lars there.
Planned for launch weekend so far are Jayson Norris, Et Tu Bruce and also the Director of the Chemical Brothers’ new film is doing a Q&A that night too.  Jazz Traitors also lined up."
