Bea's Crawfish Boil near London Bridge

Bea's of Bloomsbury are finding some very creative uses for the Maltby Street location.  It's great for Saturday brunch, and they're also running film nights there.  Now comes the Crawfish Boil - over three Thursdays in June.

"In the spirit of all things Americana, Beas of Bloomsbury will be hosting a Louisiana-style Crawfish Boil Thursday June 14th.  Mountains of Spiced Crawfish, Potatoes, Sweetcorn, Sausage, and Garlic Bread  along with cocktail sauce, comeback sauce and our special cajun butter sauce for dipping, this is a not a feast for the faint-hearted.  This is a crawfish boil the way my family has it back in the states.
There will be no plates, no cutlery. Just lots of butcher paper, wedges of lemon, and learn the 'rustic' way of enjoying these critters, which would not be out of place in any horror B-movie.  Don't come dressed fancy! Come in clothes that you may need to burn in shame afterwards.
Tickets are 24 GBP per person for all you can eat Crawfish, sauces, butters, sides and dessert. Drinks are not included.  For dessert we'll be passing out our ice lollies of different flavours, enjoy as many as you can consume!  One seating only, so there's no rush--this will be a proper Southern party--no rush, a chance to enjoy the nice weather, and great company.   Better yet, the crawfish comes right here in the UK rivers, and by eating them, we're helping the UK white tailed crayfish population by eating the American Crayfish invaders.  Our crawfish come courtesy of Crawfish Bob --on www.crayaway.com.  Please visit his site for more information on what you can do to help eradicate the Crawfish population.
There will be a drinks menu available serving frosty beers and our own Raspberry Lemonade as well as other cocktails and punches on the night."
