TOMS Pop-up Shop in Seven Dials

Ethical footwear manufacturer TOMS has just opened a pop-up shop in Seven Dials.  Very handy if you want to see and try on the shoes before buying - previously they were only available online.

"Located at 69 Neal Street, the TOMS Pop-Up shop will stock the latest Spring/Summer 2012 shoe collection and their recently launched Eyewear range, which includes six classic styles.  Visit the Seven Dial store between 3rd May-28th June and discover the new range featuring casual materials including burlap, basket weaves, perforated canvass and chambray, all carefully designed to reflect a carefree lifestyle. New twists on TOMS styles are also incorporated within the range from rope Sole Cordones to Tie-Dye Dessert Oxfords – perfect for the summer months. In true TOMS fashion, for every pair of shoes or sunglasses sold, TOMS will donate to a person in need as part of their ‘One for One’ philosophy .
Throughout their residency in Seven Dials, TOMS will be hosting a series of events and exhibitions making the store a social hub, which encourages fans to celebrate the TOMS community and get creative in true TOMS style. Kicking off the activity is a collaboration with Debut Contemporary to host a ‘Debut Contemporary Exhibition’ which will see artists exhibiting seven one-of-a-kind TOMS eyewear art frames in-store and this weekend on Saturday 5th May, TOMS will celebrate their arrival to Seven Dials and their 6th Birthday with a ‘TOMS Community Fair’. Drop by the Neal Street store between 11am-7pm to enjoy live music, food, drinks, children’s entertainment and much more. Fair-goers will also get the chance to be creative and customise their own TOMS in store. Other events happening throughout May include a live acoustic session with a surprise up and coming act, Designer Limited Editions and London College of Fashion Window Takeover."
