Christian Aid's Pop-up Shop of Gardening Tools in Soho

This pop-up shop is for a very good cause - Christian Aid.  Lots of celebs have customised gardening implements - and wellies - and the general public can buy them in store, and on Ebay.

"David Shrigley’s wellies and Alan Titchmarsh’s pruners will be among the one-off items on show and available to buy at a special pop-up shop in Soho from 14 – 19 May as part of this year’s Christian Aid Week. A host of famous names, including TOWIE’s Lydia and model, Tali Lennox, have customized gardening tools to help raise vital funds to ‘give the tools to help people in poverty out of poverty’ in countries such as Sierra Leone. The shop will be open throughout the week to the public, who can bid for the tools at www.ebay.co.uk/christianaid
Money raised during Christian Aid week will be used to support poor communities across Africa, Asia and Latin America. This year, the money will go even further as the first £5million donated to Christian Aid Week will be matched by the Government pound for pound, enabling the charity to help more people in poor communities around the world work their way out of poverty."

When - 14th - 19th May

Where - 63 Broadwick Street, Soho, W1F 9QL
