The Soho Food Feast is a one day event where chefs from some of Soho's best restaurants get together to raise money for the Soho Parish Primary School. I made sure I got my tickets for this one before posting it up here - and when you read the details you will see why I didn't want to miss out. For £6 you get access and can see the events and demonstrations; you have to pay extra for the food and drink.
"The Soho Food Feast is back for 2012, after a hugely successful first edition last year. The one-day event will bring together some of London’s most high-profile and highly-respected chefs, restaurateurs and producers in support of Soho Parish Primary School. Last year, nearly £30,000 was raised, and organiser Margot Henderson has every intention of making this year’s Feast bigger and better in every way.
With demonstrations, tastings and cooking contests on the agenda, guests will have the chance to mingle with the great and the good of London’s food scene in a relaxed, festive and family-friendly environment.
Among those already confirmed as participating are: Jeremy Lee of Quo Vadis; Fergus Henderson of St John Hotel; Mark Hix of Hix; Tom Oldroyd of Polpo, Robin Hancock of Wright Brothers and Thomasina Miers of Wahaca, while Soho legends The French House are signed up to run the bar."
