Literary Dinners & Foyles Present Evie Wyld in Soho

Literary Dinners are back, this time in collaboration with Foyles, presenting new novelist Evie Wyld, author of After The Fire, A Still Small Voice, in The Society Club in Soho.  Tickets are priced at £30 and for this you get the 2 course menu, an evening of entertainment. and a special leaving present.  Foyles are also giving an extra 10% off the price of the book on their site with a special code.

"Nestle into the intimate atmosphere of The Society Club, as Literary Dinners – in an adventure with Foyles! - spend an evening with writer and bookseller-vivant Evie Wyld.
We’ll be paying honour to Evie’s debut novel After the Fire, A Still Small Voice, bringing to life three generations of Italian fathers and sons struggling against the hardships of Australia’s east coast. Our pop-up restaurateurs The Two Nightingales will be on hand with a vibrant combination of bakery and bestiary to satiate any outback raconteur, evoking the food and family that form just one ingredient in Evie’s delicious fictional recipe.

Menu
Sharing-bowls of aromatically-spiced lamb meatballs braised in a bolognese sauce, on a bed of mixed wild and white rice with caramelised red onion.
And for a hint of Antipodean epicuriosity, all this will be served with a platter of barbecue-grilled vegetable salad in bell pepper halves.
For dessert, a decadent pavlova with strawberries, banana and kiwi drizzled with rich ginger syrup."
