Hidden away above the very cool and very authentic Spanish Pintxos (tapas) and cocktail bar Seven at Brixton is the new pop-up jewellery, vintage and fashion boutique Fortune.
"Fortune, a new secret pop up boutique situated at the vanguard of the new look Brixton is showing the true value of vintage and the beauty of bespoke clothing.
Owned and run by Eva Sykes and Donna Tzelepis it is a labour of love and their influence is apparent everywhere, from the stencilled walls to the carefully sourced interior designs; handprinted wallpaper, silk lampshades and laser-cut mirrors sit alongside handmade jewellery from Rosita Bonita, Nylon Sky and Maria Zureta.
Fortune provides a bespoke ʻpersonal shopper experienceʼ, that is gaining a growing reputation not just with the local fashionistas but more importantly with women looking for a little guidance and honest advice gaining their desired vintage look. Years of working in markets and vintage shops, coupled with a healthy obsession for everything vintage Eva and Donna have developed an eye and the contacts to find amazing one-off pieces that are loved by their customers.
