Last week I featured Bell & Brisket's pop-up Salt Beef Bar in Piccadilly; now it's being expanded for one Sunday this month by offering a pop-up roast upstairs by the people from Stolen. This month (I'm hoping it'll become regular) they have Lamb and Beef, with all the trimmings.
"Bonnie & Clyde are risking arrest; their hunger for a decent Sunday Roast has flushed them out in public once again.
They have secured a central Londonhideout, right under the noses of those pesky rozzers. The Landlord of the Queens Head has been bribed and will allow certain varieties of contraband to be consumed. A ready supply of smuggled London Ales, Picklebacks, and the local rags of the day will be available, along with our regular DJ playing cool Sunday tunes.
Sunday Roast will be served in the upstairs hideout; For those convicts needing a speedy get away, a known Stolen accomplice Bell & Brisket, will be offering salt beef rations in the downstairs bar. Don’t worry, the windows are frosted, no-one can see in."
