Literary Dinner with author Alex Preston in Kensal Green

Literary Dinners is a new supper club, letting people have a great dinner, in stunning surroundings with an interesting author.  Their first event is on 1st of March, and features Faber & Faber author & New Statesman journalist Alex Preston, and is being held in The Dissenters' Chapel, a grade II listed building in Kensal Green Cemetery.

"With miraculous nerve, Alex Preston’s new novel The Revelations lays bare a world where the success of a religious cult becomes more important than the lives of its followers. In celebration of the novel’s proselytising prose, pop-up restaurateurs The Two Nightingales have planned a three-course gourmet equivalent to the Last Supper and maĆ®tre d’fiction Charles Haynes will guide the evening's Sermon on the Mount.
Aromatic roast pumpkin and coconut soup to start, with plenty of rosemary and red onion bread to tear-and-share as true literary disciples.
Baked mustard and apricot chicken breasts, accompanied by bowlfuls of new potatoes with pan-fried chorizo, warm broad and green bean salad, and sweet peppers and grilled courgette quinoa with toasted pumpkin seeds.
Culminating with rich and indulgent individual brioche and butter puddings.
Only 25 tickets available. Price includes an evening's entertainment, 3-course meal and complimentary wine."
