Future Cinema's Valentine's Week Screenings of Brief Encounter in Shoreditch

Future Cinema gets romantic!  It's not just the classic love story Brief encounter, it's the whole atmospher that they're creating in the Troxy Cinema in Commercial Road.  This sounds like a very classy performance, & it's selling out fast!

"Future Cinema presents a live film experience of one of the most beautiful and romantic films of all time, David Lean's Brief Encounter. The Troxy will be transformed into a Picture Palace for five nights only, to celebrate the launch of the Other Cinema. From the 14th-18th February, live music, an organist, usherettes and performance will return the venue to it's opening glory bringing community, passion and shared experience back to cinema.

The Other Cinema is a network of cinema lovers who seek to return to the golden days of cinema – we believe in the community, romance and locality that comes of the cinema-going experience. The Other Cinema will screen one beautiful and vital film each month in a growing network of screening partners across the United Kingdom and the world."
