Words Words Words Pop-up Library in Selfridges

Words Words Words is a 2 month initiative by Selfridges around the printed word.  During that time they're transforming the UltraLounge in their basement into a library (sadly no borrowing) using books donated by publishers, and running imaginative literary events.

"Selfridges kicks off 2012 with a brand new store-wide initiative: Words Words Words. Touching every aspect of Selfridges from the much-anticipated window displays to the exciting programme of in-store events, the concept celebrates the power of the written word.
From 12 January to 1 March the UltraLounge on the Lower Ground floor of Selfridges London will be transformed into a library and become the epicentre of the Words Words Words theme. The library will provide a unique interactive space to become fully immersed in the topic, from specially curated ranges of inspirational books to fascinating classes and lectures from The Idler Academy and It’s Nice That.
Discover what your handwriting says about you at the hand writing analysis session or learn the ancient art story telling with our specialist workshops. Discuss your favourite literary works of art at the Penguin Book Club or sharpen your wits with a grammar or Latin masterclass."
