Marimekko and Skandium Pop-up Shops in Selfridges




This month two Scandinavian pop-up stores are opening in Selfridges, under the management of the British company Skandium.  One is Marimekko, which had a pop-up in Heals last year, and has a unit at Boxmark, and the other is a furniture store.

"Skandium kick-starts 2012 with opening two pop-up stores on the 4th floor in Selfridges. Monday 9th of January Marimekko Department -- the first Skandium operated pop-up store in Selfridges opens. The 124 m2 Marimekko Department will be the largest Marimekko store in the UK and will feature bedlinen, towels, shower curtains, bathrobes, T-shirts, nighties, children’s clothing, bags, kitchenware and fabrics. Skandium furniture department opens Monday 20th January on the same floor and in this pop-up store products from Asplund, Carl Hansen, Fritz Hansen, Hay, Knoll, Vitra and Skandium's own furniture collection will be shown."
