This is the third Sunday pop-up organised by The Cornish Grill for the last Sunday of the month at Redhook. Judging by the tweets sent during and after aerlier events this is likely to be very special, and also very likely to sell out. This time the roast is beef. But not just any beef, Red Ruby Beef...
"With two cracking Sundays under our belts we are now very pleased to welcome a man who has worked at some of the world's greatest restaurants: James Knappett has just left Head Chef position at Marcus Wareing and moved to The Ledbury, generally acknowledged to be London's finest restaurant. This will be his last move before he opens his own restaurant and we'll get a chance to see what his cooking is all about. He has been inspired by his time at Noma in Copenhagen, Per Se in New York and Rick Stein in Cornwall and will be fixing a fantastic lunch using only the finest Cornish seafood, meat and vegetables.
Tickets are a chunky £50 each for four courses, coffee and truffles plus a Grey Goose aperitif and DIY at the neverending Grey Goose Bloody Mary buffet. There is also a wine matching option on the day for +£22.
You can book solo, in twos or groups and we'll find a good spot for you. We're seating people in tables of four and more so The Cornish Grill will be a little like a supper club, only at lunchtime and in a restaurant."
