El Panzon is organising an evening of Mexican food and wine at Secondo in Clapham on Saturday 29th October, through to the early hours of Sunday morning. It's £25 per head and it sounds great - this is the menu:

Totopos con salsa
Fresh crispy cooked hand-cut corn tortillas served with a habonero chilli salsa.
Sopes con Refritos
Crispy base corn boat filled with refried black beans with Monterrey-Jack
Starters
Quesadilla de Huitlacoche
Also known as Mexican truffel toasted on the grill, with cheese in a tortilla
Civiche
Marinated fish and sea food in lemon juice lightly seasoned with fresh chilli, onion, cilantro and lime.
Tamales de Cerdo con Salsa Verde Frita
Traditional steamed corn dough dumpling filled with pork and served with Tomatillo salsa.
Interlude
Citrus Sorbet with mint
Main Course
Pollo Mole con Platano Macho
Breast of chicken cooked with a sauce of ground spices, a blend of chillies and chocolate. Served with fried ripe plantain.
Pescado a la Veracruzana
Fish (tba) served with a sauce of tomatoes, peppers, onions, and olives.
Enchiladas en Salsa Negra
Rolled corn tortilla filled with queso fresca (fresh cheese) and spinach topped off with sauce made of tomatillos and crushed walnuts. (Vegetarian)

Flan with vanilla & Orange
Banana & Chocolate Chimichanga
Deep fried tortilla filled with banana & chocolate served with vanilla ice cream."
